FATAL ACCIDENT.

Napier, last night

A youth about 16 years of age. named Frank Puh’oru. son of Mr Henry Pulford, a farmer at Clive, was found dead on the road between Whakatu and Clive this morning. It appears that- the lad was taking milk to tiie, creamery at Whakatu, and though the occurrence was not witnessed by any person, it is evident that the horse must- have bolted, and tho young fellow been thrown out of the cart, as the horse and cart were found some distance sway. His body now awaits an inquest.
