London, Nov. 24. Goudie, the bank embezzler, was in the habit of forging cheques in payment of turf debts. The cheques were drawn upon an account kept with the Bank of Liverpool, The cheques were afterwards presented through the Clearing House and various banks. Goudie failed to debit the cheques to account and circumventod a daily chock with fresh transactions. Melbourne, Nov. 25, The Monte dc Piete defalcations total over sixteen thousand pounds.
