DISCUSSION IN THE HOUSE. By Telegraph-Tress Association-Copyright Melbourne, Nov. 22. In the Federal House Mr McMillan moved the reductions of duty on bacon and hams from threepence to twopence. Mr O'Mally, of Tasmania, suggested reciprocity with Now Zealand. , Mr Kingston said ho would be dclightea to sec New Zealand in the federation. If New Zealand approached tho Federal Government they would gladly assist to bring about more intimate relations between that colony and the Commonwealth. The amendment was negatived.
