FIRE IN A MINE,
o MEN SMOTHERED BY SULPHUR FUMES. TWENTY-TWO DEAD BODIES RECOVERED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, Nov. 22. A fire occurred at the mouth of the Smuggler mine, Telluride, Colorado. The fire filled the tunnel with sulphur fumes, which caused many deaths. The bodies of twenty-two miners have boen recovered. A number escaped from the workings but others are missing.
