SHIPPING.
The s.s. Mararoa leaves Auckland at 2 p.m. to-day for Gisborne, and is due about noon to-morrow. The last launch with outward passengers leaves at 7 o’clock. , The s.s. To Anau leaves Napier at 5 p.m. to-day, and is due at Gisborne early to-morrow morning. She sails for Auckland, the last launch leaving at 8 u.m. The s.s. Hawea leaves the Bluff on Monday next, Oatnaru on Tuesday, and Tiniaru on Wednesday, for Auckland, with a cargo of grain. She will call at Gisborne, if inducement offers. The steamor Fanny arrives from Napier this morning. The schooner Awanui (Captain Nicolas) .rrived from Tairuu on Saturday afternoon, bringing a cargo of timber, consigned: Cook County Council 2596 ft, Kennedy, Evans and Co. 21,103 ft, Mackreil and Colley 00,673 ft, to order 500 ft. On discharging, the Awanui returns to Tairua, and another two trips will be made before the mills closo down for the Christmas holidays. 1 Tho schooner Aotea arrived from Auckland yosterday afternoon, bringing 70 tons cargo, 200 empties, and 130 bales wool. ONION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Wednesday—Te Anau arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland. First launch, t‘> u.m.; last, 8 a.m. Mararoa arrives from Sydney and Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival; last, 7 p.m. Sunday, 21th November. —Te Anau arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival; last, 5 p.m.
