A desperate attempt was made to rob the Kenuington Park branch of the London and South-western Bank after business hours. A man named Lascombe, armed with a revolver, killed Crawley, the cashier, and wounded Gooch, the clerk. The latter seized Lascombe by the throat, and during a tremendous struggle tho robber shot himself dead.
