On October 20 Mr T. Turner, paymaster at the Maclean harbor works, was drowned while bathing at Yamba (N.S.WY) The bedv of a man, much decomposed and with the throat cut from ear to ear, has been found in a lagoon at Cathcart (N.S.W.) The most remarkable book in the world, so far as its appearance is concerned, is neither written nor printed. It is in the Imj perial Library of Pari3. and the letters are cut out of tissue paper with a pair of scissors. A ffieet of blue tissue, in which the letters are cut, is placed between two pages cf whitei and ec tbs scatter U read.
