Blind Institute Enquiry.
THE PRINCIPAL’S RACEHORSES,
(By Telegraph—-Press Association.)
Auckland, last night. At the Blind institute inquiry, Mr Caleb AVood, one of the trustees, said lie had protested against the system under which AH Tighc, the Principal, was allowed one shilling a head for catering for the inmates. He considered X2OO a year could be saved on catering, and as Mr Tighc had not private meins, it was a fair inference that lie made a profit on the food supplied to enable him to maintain his racehorses.
