The Treasurer states that if the Federal tariff is reduced this Stato will have to raise by direct taxation sixty to eighty thousand pounds to meet the deficiency. Perth, Oct. 25. The Assembly passed a motion protesting against the imposition of tho Federal tariff in its present form. Melbourne, Oct. 25. Tho Federal Government expect a majority of twelve. The censure debate has been adjourned until Tuesday. It will probably be Wednesday before a division is taken.
