As the Bill now tic-fore Parliament oniy authorises the raising of -tkib.uOO. it lias been decided to withdraw the Bill until the ratepayers have been asked to agree to the larger amount.
In one of the hospitals in South Africa last summer a busy-looking, duty-loving woman bustled up to one of the wounded soldiers who lay paring at the ceiling above his cot.
