The Anglo-Egyptian Abyssinian -lubilee survey expedition, which commenced work last year, has returned to F.n gland. It encountered terrible privations, and 7b per cent, of the members of the expedition succumbed. Thirty died from exhaustion during the months of hostilities with tho Turkhanas, a race of naked giants occupying country round Lake Rudolph.
