By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, last night. | About two thousand Bounin marched through the streets of the city yesterday, headed by acolytes, in honor of the jubilee of their church. Tile Union Steamship and Northern Companies have agreed to the request of the Bailway Department for daily steam- ; el's between Oneiumga and New Plymouth to connect with the proposed daily express train ser.icc. Gccrge Thomas Boss, of Wellington, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment to-day on two charges of false pretences by means of passing valueless , cheques in Nelson in August, the sentences to be concurrent. Dunedin, last night. I Mr Charles Haynes, ex-Mayor o£ Dune- > din, is dead.
