AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB,
PROPOSAL TO PAY ON TWO HORSES NEGATIVED. [By Teegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. At tho meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club the question of adopting the system of paying out totalisator money on first and second horses, also that of allowing bookmakers to bet at the club’s meetings were discussed, and both proposals were negatived by a largo majority.
