A Fortunate Director.
CREATED K.C.M.G. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Mr Browning, Superintendent of the Cable Company, has received information that Mr John Demson Pender, managing director of the Eastern Cable Company, and a director of the Eastern Extension Cable Company, has been created a K.C.M.G., in recognition of the valuable services rendered to the country by the associated companies.
