At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the forthcoming brass band contest to-night the following prizes were fixed for the test selection First, £IOO and medals ; second, £SO ; third, £25 ; fourth, £ls ; fifth, £lO. For the marching contest, four prizes are otYered—£2o, £i~s. £lO, and £5, and tho usual prizes for solos, trios, and quartettes.
