Colonial Borrowing.
By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright London, Sept. 28. The Queensland Government have issued the prospectus of a one million three hundred and seventy-four thousand pounds 3 per cent, loan, at a fixed price of 91 i, which will bo underwritten on the usual terms. Queensland and Tasmanian stocks have been gazetted as suitable for trustee investments. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company arc issuing one hundred thousand 4j per cent, debentures shares at par. Brisbane, Sept. 30. The Queensland loan is the balance of the sum required for public works, authorised last year.
