After varying fortunes, she led to starboard, and the Columbia on tlio port tack was forced to go about by Shamrock. The wind increasing, the Shamrock did grand windward work, and gained an advantage. The rivals ran homeward with their booms to port and spinnakers to starboard, and although, owing to a drop of the wind within two miles from home, the Columbia was leading, it was anybody's race. Botli wore again oven within half-a-milo of the finish. New York, Sept. 80. Tomorrow’s course for tlio America Cup will ho a triangular one, affording a tost of speed i.ll reaching to the flagship.
