New Zealand would most assuredly adopt guerilla tactics in case of attack, and the guerilla who was unshaven and wore a blue shirt would be as much assistance to her as the smartest volunteer, their intelligence and shooting powers being equal. Brother Boer js not a military man, but he is a soldier who insists on England spending million and a quarter pounds a week tq subdue him. He has attended no camp of instruction in his life, but he has like every New Zealander, spent every minute he has to spare in pursuit of his national sport—rifle shooting.—Free Lance.
