Slanders Refuted.

A newspaper correspondent having suggested that disease, especially cancer, was due to the consumption of frozen meat, and that diseases wore induced in animal* owing to their being over-driven and excessively branded, Mr Copeland, Mr Sinclair (tho trade expert of Victoria), and Mr Cameron (of New Zealand), took up the cudgels on behalf of the colonies, repudiated the statements, and threw ridicule on them.
