Death of Colonel Fraser.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Thames, last night. Colonel Fraser, Sergeant-at-Arms in the House of Representatives, died at his residence, near Thames, to-day, at the ago of 03 years. Colonel Fraser was compelled to return from Wellington after the commencement of the session on account of ill-health. Shortly before he had a slight stroke of paralysis, which brought on complications. *He was a colonel in the New Zealand Volunteers, and saw service in the Waikato war. . He was elected to the Provincial Council, was Warden of the Thames district, and then entered Parliament, being elected three times. He was appointed Sergeantat Arms seven years ago.
