Montgomery’s Entertainers’ Company.

To-night at the Theatre Royal the above popular combination commence a season of four nights. The Company comes with a big reputation gained in all the leading centres of the colony. Four seasons have been played in the Opera House, Wellington, during the last twelve months the last season being of fifteen nights. This is in itself a splendid recommendation, so we expect a big treat at these perform .no-s. The programme will comprise some of the following, viz : “ Army Life, or How Soldiers are made." These scenes portray the full training of a soldier, and besides being decidedly interesting and cntei lainmg ; are also educational. *• Our ltoyal Naval Mantc-uvres,” "The Story of a Crime,” “ Joan of Arc,” “ The Darios Dances,” “ The Wonderful Diving Horses” (them horses dive from a height of 00ft), "The Famous Football Doc,” the Fairy Pantomine of “Cinderella,” or the story of the glass slipper, which shows this favorite Fairy Pantomine complete, and a big number of humorous subjects, two of which call for special mention are “ What Happened to Jones,” and “ Why Smith Left Home,” other scenes making without doubt the best collection of films brought to Gisborne. A first-class drawing-room enteitaininent is another feature of this big show, fhe illustrated songs by Mr K. Montgomery, Peter Eade in his popular sketches, and the favorite comedian, Mr Harry Hall, are all artists who come with a big reputation, I
