Death of an Old Settler.
f THE AARON OF OTAGO.

Dunedin, last night
Mr A. J. Burns, a well-known citizen, died suddenly this morning. He was son of the late Dr. Burns, the Aaron of Otago settlement, and descendant of the Scottish poet. He was promoter oi the Mosgiel woollen factory, which-was afterwards taken over by a company, of which he has been director ever since.
