BOWLING.

KAITI CLUB’S MEETING,

The adjourned annual general meeting of the Kaiti Bowling Club was held last evening, the President (Mr J. W. Witty) being in the chair. The committee’s report and the balance-sheet of the hon. treasurer were read and adopted. The following wore elected as officers of tho club for tho ensuing season : President, Mr .1. \V. Witty ; vice-president, Mr C. P. Davies ; Secretary and .Treasurer, Mr •fas. Tod. Witty; Committee', Messrs Jackson, Willock, and Wallace. Nine new members were elected. It was arranged, weather permitting, that the ensuing season should bo opened on Thursday, September 12th, by a match, President v. Vice-President, to commence at 2 o’clock sharp. It was also decided that Kaiti Club play the Whataupoko Club on about tho 14th September, commencing at 2 p.m., and that Kaiti play the Gisborne Club on Thursday, 10th September, commencing at 2 p.ui.
