All American paper Has & cablegram to the following effect According to the latest interpretation of the British law, the audience in a theatre can throw stones at the stage with impunity. A rowdy has been hauled up in a police court charged with throwing stones in a music hall at Hoxton. Six or seven stones were produced in court which had been picked up from the stage. The Magistrate held that in the absence of any witness having been struck by the s tones or individually pelted by the thrower the prisoner must go free.
