Complainant was a tram car driver, and tho assault took placo on tho ear.

The Land Valuation Department has just acquired from Mr Hoffmann a 500acre farm in tho parish of Waikomiti, near the New Lynn railway-station, tho intention being to cut the land up in small sections for tho purpose of forming workmen’s homes.
