WOMEN THREATENED—A MAN MURDERED.

Yesterday tlicro woro cases of two women being bailed up and threatened with a revolver at Burwood. In another case a man died as tho result of garotting in the city, tho murder being committed for the sake of a bottlo of boor ho was carrying.
