Accident Insurance.
(To the Editor of the Times.) Sir, —Kindly allow me to say a few words upon the question of Accident Insurance. .Mr Carrington before leaving Auckland early this month with the stallion Swordfish took the precaution to insured him, and I also remember Mr McNair insuring some stud sheep imported to Gisborne, and the late J. Woodbine-Johnson importing three bulls with a risk on them. I had two horses working on the Gis-borne-Karaka line insured. The premium of 5s or 7s 6d per hundred, quoted by Mr Harding, is well spent money, and it keeps the man safe, as well as the Hospital Trustees. Some may look on this as a joke, but if the man that milks the cow is hurt and not insured, how then about the bank balance ?—I am, etc., P, Jlaher,
