TO PURCHASE DAIRY ASSOCIATION'S BUSINESS.

f Special to Turns. | Hamilton, last night. The prospectus lias been issued of a cooperative company to purchase and carry on the business of the New Zealand Dairy Association, Limited. The proposed capital is .£IOO,OOO, in shares of .£2 10s caYh. It is proposed only to allot half the shares at present, the vendors to take 400 -haros in part payment of the purchase money (iMOOO). The plant and buildings arc valued at .£40,800, and the goodwill and trade mark at <£6ooo. The vendors will take X 40,000 for the business and plant. It is proposed to raise .E 09,000 in .£IOO debentures, re-payable at the rate of .£4OOO per annum. The prospectus states that those are arranged fn>- at 5 per cent. It is proposed to call up only 2s 6d per share at present, and no call to exceed that amount, or be made at a less interval than six months. Mr Wesley Spragg is to be manager of the new company, and Messrs Lovell and Christman tho brokers iu London.
