A POLITICAL SENSATION.
OFFICIALS SUSPENDED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Perth, Aug. 23. A sensation has been caused here. Tlie Cabinet, after a lengthy investigation into matters in the Railway Department, and adverse reports by the General Manager, Mr John Davies, against Mr G. W. Davies, who was recently appointed Secretary, to the Commissioner of Railways, decided to suspend both John and G. W. Davies.
