Loan for Farmers.

Melbourne, Aug. 20.
The public subscribed a little over twenty thousand of a hundred thousand three per cent. Government guaranteed debentures, on account of the Commissioners of the Savings Bank, to be used for advances to farmers. The balance has been allotted to the Commissioners. The whole loan averaged ,C 96 Os llld.
