A YUKON LINER SUNK.
STRIKES AN ICEBERG IN CALM WEATHER.
SIXTY-FIVE PEOPLE DROWNED,

The Yukon liner Islander struck an iceberg near Juneau, Alaska, within a mile of the shore, in perfectly calm weather, and sank in 25 minutes.
Sixty-five persons were drowned, 107 being saved. A million dollars of gold went down with the vessel.
