Mr Seddon, referring to the work of the Conciliation Boards, said that he was looking forward to seeing at the beginning of next year a complete cessation of the disputes between employers and employed, and a reign of industrial peace. The House resumed at 7.30. Major Steward's Statute’s Compilation Bill and Mr R. McKenzie’s Miners Rights Fee Reduction Bill passed through committee witiiout amendment. Mr Barclay's Shops and Shop Assistants Act, 1894, Amendment Bill was considered iu committee for several hours.
