OBITUARY.

(Special to Times.) Auckland, last night. The Auckland tram conductors are wearing mourning out of respect to the memory of the Tramway Company’s late popular manager, Mr J. S. Kidd. The death is announced of Mr Henry Alexander, aged 72, at Waipipi, near Auckland. Deceased was a brother of Mrs Brooke Taylor, of Gisborne. His brother, Captain F. M. Alexander, is wellknown to old Gisborne identities. Mr Henry Alexander had seen a great deal of service during the Waikato war.
