THE OBSEQUIES.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Berlin, .Aug. 7. The body of the Empress will he transferred on Saturday to the Rchliglit lvrouberg Church. A second funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon, in the prosencc of tho household and privileged persons. The body will be transferred on Monday to Potsdam, where a service will be held in the mausoleum.

London, Aug. 7. The Ophir at Mauritius lowered her flags to half-mast out of respect to the Empress Frederick.

Both the state Houses have adopted addresses of sympathy to tho British and German Royal families. The Promior explains that the non-adjournment of the Assembly was the result of not being officially informed of the death.
