The Tyscr liner Tomoana (Captain Child), wiiieb arrived from Auckland on Friday evening, was unable to load on Saturday owing to the rough weather. Owing to a mishap, reported elsewhere, the steamer has left for N’apior.

Jlessrs Bichardsou and Co.'s steamer Toroa left for the Blull' on Saturday evening. The Fanny is expected from Napier this morning with a cargo of general mercandise. The Government steamer Tutanckai (Captain Post) is expected from Greymouth during the week with a cargo of sleepers for the Bailway Department.

The trawler Jliramla arrived from Napier yesterday morning, and berthed at the town wharf. She is to bo left in charge of Jlr Friar, and used in the local trawling industry. The brigantine Aratapu arrived from Newcastle yesterday, bringing over 900 tons of coai for Jlessrs Kennedy and Evans. The vessel left the New South Wales port on the 2nd inst., and had a protracted voyage.

The s.s. Umbnlla left Calcutta fov New Zealand via Singapore on the 17th inst., and is duo at Auckland about the IStli August. She lias 150 tons of Eastern cargo for tins port. The Omapere leaves Auckland at 5 pan. to-day for Coast ports and Gisborne.
