By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Tho Council of the Christian Endeavor Union resolved to-day upon the employment of a salaried travelling secretary, the appointment to be made after ascertaining what each Society is prepared to contribute towards the cost. A. resolution was passed affirming that all well-con-ducted Christian Endeavor Societies afford amplo opportunity for Bible study, but at the same time deprecating any method s likely to obscure the original purpose of the institution, namely, to provide young converts with some sphere of useful work in the Church. It was decided that the next Convention bo held between November, 1903, and Aprils 1904, and in tho event of a visit from Dr Clark, tho Executive have power to arrango a special convention.
