OUR SOLDIERS.

GISBORNE CONTINGENT-HOME TO-MORROW. The Gisborne members of the Fourth and Fifth Contingents who returned to New Zealand by the troopship Tagus, will arrive in Gisborne by the Te Anau tomorrow morning. His Worship the Mayor has convened a meeting at the Council Chambers this morning at ten o’clock for the purpose of appointing a committee to provide a suitable reception to the men. it- is to be hoped that there will fie a large attendance and that the movement will be taken up with enthusiasm. The Gisborne men by the Tagus are: —Fourth Contingent: Troopers Bruce, Ferris, Fraser, Rogers, Thomson. Fifth Contingent: Troopers Breignan, Beat-son, Brown, Parker, Stevens, and Anthony Webb.

Last evening the Rev. Canon Webb received a telegram from his son, stating that the Gisborne men were well and would be home on Thursday morning.
