A REBUFF TO DIRECTORS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. At the annual meeting of the Farmers' Co-operative Association yesterday, a proposal by the directors to issue 3000 now shares of £1 paid up at a 5s premium, was defeated by 52 to 5. The directors then demanded that a poll be taken on tho question, and according to the Articles of Association it will have to be taken next Saturday.
