Counterfeit Coins.

BOYS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. (By Telegraph—Tress Association.) [ Invercargill, last night. Three of the youths accused of coining were to-day sent up for trial at tho Supreme Court, two for passing baso halfcrowns, and the other for having possession of a counterfeit shilling. This was on the latter’s own Admission. A constable went to the boy’s place of employment, and told him he was wanted at the police station. He walked ahead, and tho lad admitted to a detective that he threw a bad shilling into tho creek as he walked behind.
