Cooper and Macdermott' 's Kinematograph.
To-night the company will give one of j their popular entertainments at Ormond, and to-morrow they will open at tho j Academy of Music. The chief attraction ; of the present programme is " The Royal j Visit to the Colonies," but this is by no i means the only one, for the whole is a j powerful combination of living reproduc- j lions of most interesting episodes, and is j so arranged as to provide one of the best | picture, song, and story entertainments on tour. Of the performance last Thursday the Hawke's Bay Herald says “ The proprietors believe in being up-to-date, and the compliment must certainly be paid them of knowing how to keep pace with the times in the way of public amusement. The pictures throughout were remarkably clear, and of much higher standard than anything previously given here." To avoid crowding at the pay-box, intending may obtain tickets at Mrs Brown’s Beehive, Gladstone road.
