SINKING OF A STEAMER.
NINE HUNDRED EXCURSIONISTS ON BOARD. TERRIBLE PANIC—ALL RESCUED.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, July 1. The steamer Mohawk, with 90U American excursionists, struck a rock at Glen Island.
The vessel sunk in twenty minutes. A terrible panic ensued after the vessel struck, but tho shallowness of the water enabled all to he rescued.
