LABOR DISPUTES.

CAETEES AND BAKERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland last night. A dispute has been filed between the Carters’ Union and fifty-five employers. Among the demands of the union aro that drivers should arrive at stables at half-past 7, and return at 5, and on Saturdays at noon ; that £2 8s should be the minimum wage for drivers of waggons and lorries, and £2 5s for drays and spring-carts. In the dispute between the Auckland Bakers’ Union and sixty-nine employers the men ask that 9-1 hours bo a day’s labor, including 11- hours for breakfast and one hour for sponging ; that minimum wages bo : Foreman £'3, second hand £2 15s, others £2 5s per week.
