INSTEAD OF WHIT MONDAY. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright London, June 25. Lord Salisbury has promised to carefully consider the Council of the Colonial Institute’s suggestion in favor of the substitution of a bank holiday to bo known as “ Victoria Day,” on the nearest Monday May 24, for Whit Monday.
