[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Nelson, last night. Messrs Kirkpatrick and Company, Ltd., of this city, manufacturers .of the celebrated K jams, received word yesterday from their Dunedin agent that their exhibit at tho Horticultural Society’s show was awarded the gold medal in the class for jams and preserves made solely from New Zealand fruits, the exhibit also receiving the judge’s highest praise. In addition to jams and preserves, the firm also exhibited blackberry and cherrywines.
