The s.s. Elingamite arrives from Sydney and Auckland on Wednesday afternoon, and leaves for Southern ports at 5 p.in. The Tyser Company’s steamer Star of England, which arrived from Auckland yesterday morning, had a rough passage from that port, encountering the full force of the southerly gale prevailing on Sunday. The steamer will commonce loading operations from Messrs Nelson Bros’ works this morning. The schooner Gisborne and scow Ngaru leavo for Mercury Bay and Kaipara respectively as soon as the woathor moderates. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS.
