THE PRINCE.

WHAT THE TIMES SAYS.

By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyrighi London, June 20.

The Times says' that it is clear the sympathies of the .King are with tho desire of the Principality, and that tho advancement of the Duke of York to the dignity of Prince of Wales is not likely to be long delayed. At a meeting of a Committee of Peers and Members of the House of Commons desirous of securing the heraldic recognition of Wales, Sir William Harcourt assured the members that Sir Francis Knollys, Private Secretary to the King, had convinced him that, though no alteration in the Royal arms would be permitted, yet something possibly would be done to meet the wishes of Wales in connection with the arms of the Prince of Wales when that title was revived. The Committee resolved to petition the King that recognition should be made of Wales in the arms of the Prince of Wales.
