Mohawk Minstrels.

Ox Thursday evening next, at'tho Ormond Public Hall, the Mohawk Minstrels make their first appearance. The company includes some first-class local talent, and several vocalists and performers of note, including Mr Needham, a tenor, late, of the Newbury-Spada Concert Company. Mr Needham possess.es a tenor voice of a very higb order, and is highly spoken of by all who have heard him sing in Gisborne. Mr Foreman, a popular Auckland baritone, is also billed to appear on Thursday evening, as well as Mr Andrews, a comedian of good repute from Sydney and Melbourne. A capital programme has been prepared, and there should bo a bumper The orchestra comprises Mrs Fernandez (piano), Messrs Cullen, Valves, and Andrews (violins), and Higgins (piccolo), which is a sufficient guarantee that the music will be of the best. Special scenery is bei lg painted for the Ormond performance. Tho company appears in Gisborne at an early date.
