A LUNCHEON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. A luncheon was given to-day- at Bellamy’s by tho Ministry in honor of a number of soldiers who have recently returned from South Africa and Charles Hudson, recently appointed manager of Tasmanian railways. The Premier presided, and other members of the Ministry were present. THE ROYAL VISIT. The Premier and Sir Joseph Ward went South to-night by tho Mararoa to be present at the Royal reception at Christchurch. Over a thousand volunteers were also on board the steamer.
