TEACHERS’ SALARIES.
[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night. The Teachers’ Salaries Commission sat to-day, and heard the evidence of Mr Watson, 8.A., headmaster of To Aro school, who presented a report drawn up by the Teachers’ Institute, which laid great stress' on the necessity for adequate staffing of schools, and sufficient payment of teachers.
