While playing with the horse-power gear of a chaffcutter, Charlie Budge, 94 years of age, got his foot caught about the cogs, which tore the flesh from the upper part of the foot. The wound was stitched up. He made good progress for eight days. Then blood-poisoning set in, followed by tetanus, from which he died last night. __________
